Meet Freya
10 year old Freya joined the Pawfect Match family with three of her adult children, after being rescued from living outside under a shed. Freya has proven to be a fun, loving, and fun loving little lady! You'd never guess she's a senior as you watch her tear through the backyard PLAYING FETCH!!! This 9 pound girl is a professional snuggler and champion burrower - you'll find her curled up under her blankets in true chihuahua fashion. Freya is great with confident cats, but if a shy kitty approaches, she'll take the opportunity to chase. She recently upgraded her inner circle to include dogs outside of her superior chihuahua breed!!! She initially snubbed all non-chihuahuas, but she finally realizes that an inclusive world is much much better. Freya WILL NOT potty in the rain, so she uses a potty-system on the screened porch on rainy days....or when the grass is too wet haha! Freya is intimidated by very young children, so a home with older kids (~8yo and up) will be best. The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
