Meet THOR #8
MEET THOR #8! Thor is a 64 lb senior sweetheart with a big heart. Found tied to a park bench and later placed on the euthanasia list at county shelter after refusing to eat, Thor has been through more than his fair share of heartbreak. But thanks to a loving foster, he’s now rediscovering joy — and he's ready to find his forever home. Despite his age, Thor is still full of life. He loves playing fetch (yes, he even brings the ball back!), enjoys car rides, and finds comfort in his crate and toys. He’s house trained, gentle with older children, and does well with cats. His interactions with other dogs are unknown, so a slow and careful introduction would be necessary. Thor takes time to feel safe and trust new people, but once he does, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. His ideal adopter will be patient, kind, and experienced — someone who understands that rescue dogs come with history, but also with the most rewarding love. Thor Would Thrive In a Home With: • A calm, patient environment • Older kids or a quiet adult household • No other dogs or very slow intros if present • A secure, fenced yard (6 ft required) • Someone who values companionship over constant activity Thor is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to spend his golden years in comfort, safety, and love.
