Meet Birkin
Birkin was surrendered by his family when work demanded more time in the office. His perfect home will be a full time at home parent. Birkin has separation anxiety and needs a stable calm home environment. He get's along with other dogs, but prefers to be your only baby. He wants to sleep in bed with you. Birkin is reported to have had seizures. He has not had any in our care yet, and our vet doesn't want to start him on meds until we have a better understanding of their triggers (if any) and severity. His labs were pretty good, with only the T4 being out of range. We have authorized a thyroid panel for insight. Birkin likes toys and will play fetch and enjoys short walks. Birkin is looking for his forever home. A home that, will never abandon him or decide he not important! There is a possibility that seizure prevention meds may be in his future. We just don't know yet. So, if that's a deal breaker for you, do not apply.
