Meet Corky

Corky is a sweet, older gentleman whose previous owner could no longer care for him. They made the difficult decision to bring him to the shelter so that he could receive the care that he needed. This boy needed quite a bit of TLC to get back into tip top shape and be ready for adoption. This boy could hardly see when he came to us because of his overgrown, matted coat and severely dry eyes. His eyes were no longer creating tears, but within a day of medication he was becoming a whole new dog! We were able to get Corky groomed, thanks to the amazing groomers at Soggy Dog in Long Beach. Next came his neuter, dental and removing some moles that needed to go! Corky’s personality has just kept blooming and blooming! He loves people, and gets along with other dogs. Toys have recently been discovered, and he is a big fan! It’s so cute to watch him play. Now that Corky has been cleaned up, vetted and groomed…he is all ready for a home!
