Meet Ryleigh
Hi everyone… I’m Ryleigh. I’m an 8-year-old white boxer girl looking for a quiet place to enjoy my golden years. Life hasn’t always been kind to me. I was rescued from an abusive home, and now I need to find a new place to land because the female dogs in my current home and I aren’t getting along. I’d probably be happiest as your one-and-only dog but I like the neighbor's male. I promise I have enough love and personality to fill the whole house myself. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but give me a little time and I’ll warm up. I currently live with a 15-year-old kid and do great with him, so respectful older kids are just fine by me. Here are a few things about me: House trained Good when left alone Well behaved outside (no digging!) Loves car rides and adventures Not interested in cats outside… but indoor cats are a little too tempting to chase Loud things like thunder and fireworks make me nervous, but if you give me a cozy spot inside and a little reassurance, I’ll be okay. The good news? My days of sleeping outside are officially behind me, and I’ve learned that inside with my people is exactly where I belong. What I’m really hoping for now is a calm retirement home, a comfy bed, and someone who will give me a little patience while I learn that the world can be a safe and loving place.
