Meet Bear
Bear is a handsome, intelligent German Shepherd with a heart full of loyalty. Bear is looking for a new family through no fault of his own. His current environment has changed and he would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He deserves a soft place to land; a home where he can relax, bond, and be someone’s whole world. At 8 years old, he is past the puppy chaos but still full of energy and enthusiasm, especially when there’s a ball involved. He loves to play fetch and enjoys being active with his person. He can be a bit reactive in busy environments, but with structure and continued training, he has so much potential. In familiar settings and with people he trusts, he’s affectionate, steady, and deeply loyal. He already knows some commands as SIT, STAY, PAW, LAY DOWN, COME, FETCH, and HOUSE. He has lived peacefully with familiar dogs and family before, and he truly shines when he feels safe and understood. Bear is currently at Four Footed Friends in Indiana, PA. https://fourfootedfriends.org/adopt/ If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you with his whole heart, Bear is ready to meet you.
