Meet THOR

Thor is a sweet senior gentleman with the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion. From our volunteer observations, he walks beautifully on leash, enjoys meeting new people, loves sniffy strolls and car rides, and leans in close for affection — even giving gentle “hugs” to his favorite humans. Thor appears social and easygoing with both people and dogs, and while he may be hearing impaired, he has shown how adaptable, loving, and eager to connect he truly is. Thor is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Thor has been in shelter for over 60 days and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner. Please dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested fostering or adopting.
