Meet Athanos

Meet Athanos! Athanos is a friendly and goofy dog who tends to be a bit stoic at first but warms up nicely with time. He enjoys playing with tennis balls, going on walks, and interacting with squeaky toys. He is food‑motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. His previous owner reported that he lived with both a baby and a toddler, and all interactions were positive. He also has a positive history living with another dog. In our care, he has shown that he can be dog selective and may do best with mellow, similar‑sized dogs, particularly females or larger dogs. Due to his history of prey‑drive behavior, we suggest homes without small dogs, cats, or other small animals. He knows several cues, including sit, come, shake, bed, kennel, potty, and out. His prior owner reported that he is both housebroken and crate trained.
