Meet Blu
For ten years, she lived outside. Ten years of cold nights, no couch to curl up on, no one to lean into at the end of the day. Ten years of deserving so much more. Blu is a ten-year-old Pitbull with the kind of soul that makes you question everything — because after all of that, she is still the sweetest, most loving girl. No bitterness. No walls. Just a dog who is so ready to be someone's everything. She gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, kids, and adults. She is calm, gentle, and affectionate — the kind of senior girl who just wants to be close to her people. Low energy, high love. She will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you, and she will soak up every single pet like it's the best thing that's ever happened to her. Because for her, it might be. We want to be honest with you: Blu was recently found to have a low grade mast cell tumor, and she has a mass removal surgery scheduled for June. She is going to get through it — and we want her to get through it in her forever home, surrounded by the love she has spent a decade waiting for. Her adoption fee has been fully sponsored, and her medical care is being handled. All she needs is you. She is not a project. She is not a burden. She is a gift — one that the right person is going to unwrap and wonder how they ever lived without her. Blu is looking for a foster or forever home. Give a ten-year-old girl her first real chance. She will spend whatever time she has left making sure you never regret it.
