Meet KANE

Kane Kane is a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray on 5/30/26. His owner reported she believed he had been taken a few weeks prior, but due to life changes—including an upcoming move to housing that only allows one dog and financial limitations—she ultimately surrendered him over the phone. Despite everything he’s been through, Kane is a gentle, quiet senior boy with a soft and loving nature. He is potty trained, good on leash, and enjoys a calm, easygoing lifestyle. Kane is toothless, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life—especially when it involves cozy blankets and a warm place to snuggle in. He is affectionate, low-key, and happiest when he’s curled up close to his person. He has shown interest in other dogs and seems to enjoy their presence, making him a nice candidate for calm canine companionship with proper introductions. Kane is looking for a peaceful home where he can feel safe, loved, and comfortable for his golden years—a soft landing for a very deserving little dog.
