Meet DAISY MAE

I arrived at the shelter as a stray, so my history is mostly a mystery. I'm sweet and I'm excited to find a loving home where I can live my best life and shower people with love. Insights from my adventure buddies and foster friends:`Miss Daisy Mae spent the weekend with me, and she was a great houseguest. More than anything, she seemed happy for the chance to simply rest. After the hustle and bustle of the shelter, she soaked up the quiet, enjoying long, uninterrupted naps and the comfort of a soft place to land. At one point, she even hopped up into a comfy chair and settled in for a while, looking completely content. Daisy Mae is smart, loves to know what her people are up to, and will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of the day. She loved roaming the yard, but every so often she would stop, turn around, and make sure I was still in sight before continuing on. She loves coming up for a gentle nuzzle and a little extra love, and those quiet moments of affection quickly became some of my favorites. She is a sweet older pup who deserves to spend her golden years having adventures with her family, soaking up all the love she can, and finally knowing what it feels like to be home. My favorite thing about her? She has these adorable spurts of happy energy where she wants to jump and run a bit with you by her side!`
