Meet BEAR

Bear's 4 Night Safe and Sound Sleepover 5/11-5/15:Bear had a sleepover with us on May 11-15th while construction was being done at the shelter and he was a pure joy from the start. He has impeccable house manners, he was obviously trained and loved dearly in his past. He is good in the car and just jumped right in. We brought him outside for a fun bath and he stayed still and was very content. He is very polite when meeting new people and does not jump up on them or bark. Bear is happy chilling anywhere. He’ll lay outside in the sun if you need to get work done, and he’s just as happy to be at your feet when you’re watching tv. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is okay being left alone for a few hours at a time and does not chew or rip things up. He loves car rides, but loves his walks even more. He gets so happy and runs in circles when you bring out his leash. He doesn’t pull and will stay right by your side. He is not bothered by squirrels, birds, or other dogs. If someone wanted to pet him, he was more than happy to let them. He took a trip to Lazy Dog, which is a restaurant where you can take your dog and sit and eat on the patio. He had no problem with the other dogs there. He sat right under the table and was not a beggar or barker. He loved when people called him cute and gave him pets. He is very respectful of boundaries and furniture. He won’t jump on beds or couches without your command. If you need some space he will stay on your side of the bed without a problem. He does not snore and does not like the mornings either, so he was the perfect sleeping buddy! We can’t wait for him to find his forever home soon! Bear's adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from Tim Pantle
