Meet Aki

Meet Aki! Aki is a very young 9 year old GSD/Husky mix. He found himself in our care when his owner moved and could not take him with them. Aki is a typical GSD in his behavior. He is friendly as long as introductions are done appropriately. He is not comfortable with people crowding into his space or forcing him to interact. If you slt down and let Aki come to you, he is much happier and will accept affection and interaction. Aki is not great with other dogs. He wants to dominate them and will over-react if they correct him for doing so. He responds well to people correcting him, but he will do best in a home that has no other dogs. Aki's manners aren't bad. He is very smart, and can be taught whatever his new family wants to teach him. Stop in anytime between 11:00 and 6:00 daily to meet Aki.
