Meet Pongo, the dashingly handsome 13 year-old retriever/hound mix who weighs 60 pounds. This playful and affectionate boy is friendly, energetic, and loves the great outdoors! A long stroll at the park is one of his favorite things and he walks so nicely on the leash. He gets along well with other dogs outside the home (though he’d prefer to be your one and only at home) and even cats. There’s one thing Pongo isn't thrilled about: sharing his prized toys. This senior pooch believes in the mantra "what's mine is mine!" He needs an owner that will respect his preference to not share his high valued items. Pongo would thrive best in a home without kids and needs an experienced dog owner who can provide the structure he needs while continuing his training.
