Meet Koda
Koda's an ADORABLE 4y/86lb Akita/Husky w/ 2 blue energetic eyes. The SOLE reason we must find him a simpler lifestyle is I bring him to work & he’s very “monogamous” w/ petting. I work 1-on-1 as a therapist & it’s too much exposure for the Akita in Koda, so loyal to the owner. My PTSD/cancer clients can pet him only briefly, unlike 8 years w/ my previous Akita-husky-malamute. For the last 3 of Koda’s 5 months, clients settle for Relishing him at their feet -though he sneaks in “quicks licks” to the hand upon greets. So, Akita = no greet other dogs, no dog parks. For me, no road trips w/ a friend w/ her dog. BUT Koda's glorious parts made us postpone rehoming: with his owner, he is SUPREMELY affectionate. He walks to my bed & as I plant my feet on the ground & lean over, he nestles his nose in my chest at length. Koda is FINE w/ friends on walks, at home, etc. -as long as they pet briefly. I just need ZEEERO risk a dog will react w/ PTSD/cancer clients for obvious reasons. A gifted Akita! Meet Koda today!! Email: apassionforpaws@gmail.com for adoption information
