Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Roxie! Roxie is a beautiful 7-year-old Newfoundland mix weighing about 100 pounds with a heart just as big as she is! After spending over a year and a half in our care, our longest canine resident is more than ready to find the loving family she deserves. Roxie's adoption fee is fully sponsored! Roxie is fully housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go outside with a bark. She's a smart girl who already knows several commands, including sit, shake, speak, and down. While she was previously crated when her family was away, she does well loose in the home overnight. Roxie does well with older children and other respectful dogs. Because she likes her personal space, an on-site meet and greet is required with any resident dogs. She is looking for a cat-free home. This gentle giant has waited far too long for a second chance. She deserves a family who will see past her time in the shelter and recognize the loyal, loving companion she's always been.
