Meet Gus

Gus – Playful, Spirited, and Young at Heart Gus is an 8-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 52 pounds who proves that age is just a number. Forever young: Gus enjoys zooming around the yard, rolling in the grass, and bouncing into playful bows. He may pull a bit on leash but his joyful spirit is contagious. Sweet and affectionate: While he may seem a little stoic at first, Gus quickly reveals his softer side. He politely seeks out pets, happily rolls over for belly rubs, and enjoys spending time with his favorite people. Treat-motivated and engaging: Gus knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and loves interactive outings where he can run, play, and explore. Squirrels are especially fascinating to him! Confident and fun-loving: Gus is an outgoing, happy dog who isn’t shy and approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. His playful personality makes every outing an adventure. Gus would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
