Meet Thor
✨ Meet Thor ✨ This is a dog that pulls at our heartstrings. He was surrendered by his owner. It was told that he lived his entire life on a chain. We believe this to be true because when we first put him on a leash, he paced in the small circle that would've been the length of his chain. It has taken time for him to realize there is more to life than the small bit of freedom he once had. Thor is a very shy, gentle boy who needs a little time and patience to build his confidence. He truly doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Once he starts to trust you, you’ll be rewarded with the sweetest little tail wag. He's been through enough and deserves a warm, comfy home to spend the rest of his days in. 🐾 Thor seems to be an older fella, around 7 years old. He came to us in pretty rough shape but has since put on much-needed weight and is doing so much better. He does have some scars from his past, but they’re just reminders of how far he’s come. Thor does best with calm, laid-back dogs that match his mellow energy. He will need a home without cats. Before Thor heads to his forever home, he’ll be neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and on flea/tick prevention. If you’ve got a soft spot for the shy ones, Thor is waiting. 👉 Apply to adopt at fayettecountyanimalshelterwv.com 💙🐶
