Meet Max

Meet Max! He's looking for a new home with a family who would enjoy and older dog who is loyal and obedient. Unfortunately, his current owner is having health issues, and they can no longer keep him. Max is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys going for walks and knows basic commands which he will happily perform for a treat. Max hasn't lived with other dogs but doesn't seem to mind them when he sees them on walks or at the vet. He has been in boarding, and the staff describes him as super cuddly. As German Shepherd often are - Max can sometimes be protective (barks at a stranger or someone knocking on the front door) but he listens well and is calm when he knows his owners are ok. He's neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 and you can apply to adopt him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society
