Meet Cocoa - Cross Post

COURTESY POST This dog is listed as a courtesy for another rescue. Mutt Love wants to help others in need. Meet Cocoa, a 9-year old Ibizan Hound/Terrier mix. Cocoa is losing her home and family after joining them when she was 14-weeks old. Cocoa gets along with other dogs and the staff where she has boarded over the years just love her. She is what we call a WYSIWYG dog - What You See Is What You Get. She is in her senior years and has her routine. She could stand lose a few pounds but loves her treats. Cocoa has seasonal skin allergies and is on a mild anti-anxiety medication. Otherwise, she is in pretty good shape for a gal her age. With her initial "get off my lawn" vibe, it will take some time for Cocoa to fall in love. If you are willing to give her a chance, you will have a friend for life! Cocoa would do best in a quiet home without children and a minimum number of people visiting. She should be fine if it is a multi-dog family. We do not know how she will do with cats.
