Meet Cocoa Puff - I’m sugar, spice and everything nice I’ve already mastered the stairs (not bad for these short little legs!) as well as commands - “sit”, “pretty sit” and “come”. I’m very food motivated. My foster mom says I look a lot like a little Corgi/Beagle mix, and at 7 pounds at 10 weeks old, I may grow into a medium-sized girl. I sleep nicely at night with my littermate. I’m working on potty training. I’m also an excellent coworker. I’ll happily sit nearby and stare at you with my irresistible puppy-dog eyes. And I “a-woo” to get your attention - whether I’m ready to play or ready for pets. When I’m not playing with my litter mate, I’ll follow you around everywhere and always up for a car ride. Like any young pup, I’m still learning and will need continued training. For my first few months, I’d do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for more than about 4 hours at a time while I continue learning and growing. A fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus! Our $295 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
