Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Connor! Connor isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person. This handsome 2-year-old, 50 lb yellow Lab mix is the kind of dog who loves deeply once he trusts you. He is not a “cuddle on the first date” type of guy. New people make him unsure, and he needs slow introductions, space, structure, and a confident handler who understands working dogs. But give Connor a couple walks, some patience, and the chance to feel safe, and he will remember you forever. Connor has completed professional training, is muzzle trained, and truly benefits from having a job to do. He needs a family that understands a muzzle is not a bad thing — it is a tool that helps set him up for success. His foster or forever home will also receive free training support from his board-and-train trainer to help ensure a smooth transition and set both Connor and his new family up for success. With other dogs? Connor is a total gem. He is 100% dog friendly, loves to play, and would thrive with a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes. Because Connor can be wary of strangers and has shown some resource guarding around food, he needs a low-traffic home with no young kids.
