Meet Courage ♥️ Courage’s name couldn’t be more fitting. This handsome boy came to us after being found badly injured at a Fort Worth park. He had suffered multiple wounds and devastating fractures to both a front and rear leg. His road ahead wasn’t going to be easy, but from the very beginning, Courage showed us exactly what his name means. He underwent major orthopedic surgery to repair both legs with plates and pins, followed by months of rest, rehabilitation, veterinary visits, and lots of love from his incredible foster family. Through it all, Courage remained the sweetest boy. And now we have the news we’ve all been waiting for, Courage has been medically cleared! His final X-rays looked fantastic, and this special boy is finally ready to put his difficult beginning behind him and find his forever family. Courage is affectionate, loving, and incredibly resilient. He is house trained and leash trained and is ready to settle into life with a family of his own. He has been surrounded by so many people who believed in him, from his foster family and veterinary team to the volunteers, donors, and supporters who helped make his recovery possible. Now he just needs one more person to believe in him: his adopter. Courage has already fought for his second chance. We would love nothing more than to see him spend the rest of his life knowing the comfort, security, and unconditional love of a family of his very own.
