Meet Cowboy

This Cowboy is going to ride straight into your heart! Cowboy was found abandoned at an intersection with his littermate and a bag of food. Thankfully they were both safely rescued and his littermate was previously adopted. Cowboy is 7 months old, hound mix and weighs 29 lbs. He is expected to be a medium-size dog of anywhere up to 60 pounds when fully grown. He is a lovable, playful hound mix. Cowboy is a friend to all! He is a confident, fun-loving pup who likes other dogs and everyone he meets. He is great with children but his relationship with cats is unknown. Cowboy is working on his house, crate and leash training. With practice and lots of support, Cowboy will ace all three skills. Cowboy is a smart and lovable boy. His gentle nature will make him a wonderful companion for anyone ready for puppy antics and dog snuggles. Like all rescue dogs, Cowboy needs a patient and loving home to help him adjust and learn. He is looking for a family who can offer plenty of playtime, cuddles, and guidance as he blossoms into the amazing dog we know he will be.* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Cowboy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
