Cricket is a driven, loving boy who truly thrives on connection with his people. He's incredibly sweet, eager to please, very affectionate, and incredibly silly. He loves to cuddle and be lazy just as much as he loves to work. Cricket is smart, enjoys learning new things, and has completed a full four week board and train. He behaves well in public settings, is non-reactive, and is generally friendly with people, occasionally benefiting from a slightly longer introduction but that is rare. He does well with other dogs and absolutely loves to play and can be a rough and tumble kind of player, so he would pair best with a dog who enjoys that same energy or a calm dog he can coexist with. Cricket does have some resource guarding tendencies with high value items, such as special treats or bone and around thresholds like gates and doors. With clear structure and consistent boundaries in the home, he does very well and would thrive with a confident, structured owner who understands leadership and is willing to maintain the rules he has been taught. Overall, Cricket is a wonderful dog with so much heart and potential and in the right home, he will be an incredibly loyal, fun, and devoted companion.
