Meet Daisy May

Hi there! My name is Daisy May , and I’m a four-month-old Golden Retriever and Black Mouth Cur mix (or at least, that is our best guess!). Take one look into my big, beautiful brown eyes and I hope you fall in love! You’ll also notice my super soft, wavy fur—it is absolutely perfect for petting, which is great because giving the absolute best, warmest hugs is my specialty. My start in life was a little scary when I ended up on a shelter's euthanasia list, but those dark days are far behind me now. These days, I am all about living life to the fullest! I’m an adventurous girl who loves being outside, taking in all the new sights and sounds. If there’s a kiddie pool around, you can bet I’ll be splashing my paws right in it! I also have a major passion for zoomies, and I make it my personal mission to play with every single toy in the house. When it’s time to refuel, I am definitely a fan of food and yummy treats. Speaking of treats, I almost have potty training mastered because I am very smart, and of course, when I go out to potty I get some more of those yummy treats! I am a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with my brother and all my doggy foster siblings. I haven't met any cats yet, so that's still a mystery! I’m already crate-trained and a total dream in the car for road trips, though if I’m being honest, my dream night involves curling up and sleeping right next to my favorite humans. I love my foster mom so much and am so happy in my foster home, but what I’m really dreaming of is a forever family of my very own.
