Meet Darla

Meet Darla! This sweet 6-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix is ready for her next chapter! Darla came into rescue with her puppy, Scrunchie, and it’s clear she’s spent a lot of time being a mama. Now it’s her turn to be loved, pampered, and taken care of! Darla is a lovable girl who adores her person, cozying up on top of couch cushions, chewing on her favorite bones, and having company nearby. She can be a little needy and has some separation anxiety, so she’d love a home where someone is around often to keep her company. She gets along with other dogs but may be a little protective of her food, so mindful feeding routines are important. Darla is potty trained, doesn't shed, and will need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. She can climb out of low enclosures and gates, so she'll need a little extra supervision, too! After spending so much time caring for her pups, Darla deserves a forever home where she can finally be the one getting all the love. Could you be the person she's been waiting for?
