Meet Dayla

Please note that we are no longer taking applications for Dayla. ***Hi there! I’m Dayla, a 5-year-old brown and white sweetheart clocking in at an easy, compact 38 pounds! If your house could use a daily dose of goofy joy, wait until you see my signature happy bounce—the shelter team says it’s impossible not to smile when my paws get going! I’m an easygoing, low-to-medium energy lady who is instantly in love with anyone willing to give me a little attention. While I might be mid-sized on the scale, my heart is convinced I am a tiny lap dog. My favorite move is climbing right up for a cuddle the second you sit down! I’m super tolerant and love making friends with people, kiddos, and other dogs. I even had a blast roughhousing in a playgroup with four pups who were all way bigger than me! (Pro tip: if you keep a couple of snacks in your pocket, I'll be your shadow for life. )The boring adult stuff? I’ve already aced it. I’m completely house-trained, walk like an absolute dream on leash, and take kennel stays with easygoing stride! I’m also spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
