Meet Delilah III

9/21/2026Delilah III is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Delilah III! I am a beautiful 1 year old fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to me no longer getting along with the service dog in the home and I need to find my own forever home. I am described as friendly, active, smart, calm, noisy, playful, and affectionate! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. My owner's preteen grandson lives in the home and there are friends that bring their grandchildren (ages 6-8 years) over and I am thrilled to be around kids! I'm pretty happy with any visitor that comes over because I am able to make a new friend, give affection, lay in their lap, or help out with whatever they may be doing! I am house trained, crate trained, and I sleep right up next to my owner. I am quite special because when my owner is about to have a seizure I will lay across her lap to keep her from falling over. I will stay there once she is awake and ok and then remain at her side. If the humans must be away, I am fine but do not leave boxes of Kleenex in reach because I will magically make them explode! I do not like thunderstorms but am very calm during tornado warnings in safe spaces. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences or gates! Some of my favorite things are squeaky toys, playing fetch, following the humans and being in their personal space, playing in water or my splash pad, comforting the humans, treats, non rawhide chews, and pretty much most things!
