Meet Denver

From his current family: This is Denver, and he's looking for a new start! He is my parents' pup, but we all feel he would thrive in a home that either has cattle dog experience or wants an only pet and constant companion. Denny is crate and house trained, and walks beautifully on the leash with verbal correction for me (I'm experienced with reactive pups). He does have a loud bark and wants to bark at/control the situation with other dogs, but with consistent correction and training he does great. He really just wants attention and constant cuddles! Denver's info snapshot: Age: 4 years Size: Medium, 30-40lbs Breed: Cattle Dog X S/N: Neutered Male Vaccines: Up to Date Selective with dogs, not good with cats Training: Very food motivated, smart, and easy to train House and Crate trained ✅ Leash trained ✅ but could work on etiquette Knows basic commands Temperament: Laid back for a cattle dog mix Does bark at door excessively, absolutely loves snuggles and will paw at you for attention Behavioral: guarding issues with humans, toys, and food, but no bite history Medical: swelling/occasional limping on left front leg from treated/resolved coccidioidomycosis If you think you could open your home to this absolute cuteness or know someone who does, please reach out to me!
