Meet Dilly (F)

Meet Dilly! Dilly is a beautiful, sweet girl with a fun and quirky personality. She can be shy and unsure when she first meets new people or finds herself in a new environment, so she needs a patient family willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once Dilly learns she can trust you, her playful side comes to life. She loves belly rubs, running around outside, soaking up the sunshine, and playing like a happy puppy. Dilly has done well with other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a friendly, playful canine companion in her new home. Another dog could also help her continue building confidence and learning that the world is a safe place. She has also been around cats and showed very little interest in them. Dilly is crate trained and considers her crate her safe space. She is still learning to walk on a leash and will need someone willing to patiently work with her as her confidence grows. She is a relatively calm girl when relaxing but has plenty of playful puppy energy once she feels comfortable. Dilly is looking for a family who understands that trust may take a little time. Give her patience, consistency, and love, and you’ll get to see the sweet, silly, affectionate girl waiting underneath that initial shyness. Dilly has so much potential and is ready to find someone who will help her become the confident, happy dog she is meant to be.
