Meet Dizzy - Heartland No. 66

Dizzy (No. 66) was rescued from a 120+ dog hoarding situation in North Texas. Having grown up in a dog pack largely left to survive on their own on a 80+ acre farm, Dizzy is a very shy but sweet girl. She's come a longg way after a few months in her foster home, and has learned her name, as well as a few words like "kennel, outside, load up." She will jump into a car on her own and does pretty well on a leash / harness, but is still not confident in enough to go to the bathroom on a leash, so the best her environment would be a house with a fenced yard for her to do her business before walks. The more training and social time you spend with her, the more confident she becomes, but her future family has to be patient and understand that she will open up more and more with time. She is fine with both men and women but is more comfortable with women (when meeting new people). She is also totally fine in a high activity and gets along with pretty much any dog and gets her confidence with dogs, so would do best not being a solo dog. She has great house manners, is crate trained and house broken. Dizzy is a gorgeous, sweet, girl with duo-toned blue and brown eyes (heterochromia, confirmed by a vet to have completely normal vision).
