Meet Donna

Meet six month old Donna! This 30 pound retriever mix has the energy, personality, and razzle dazzle that makes you say “yeah, you’re coming home with me.” She’s an incredibly loving, silly, energetic girl who enjoys playing with other dogs and exploring new places, but her favorite spot is right next to you. While she may be timid at first, Donna will quickly warm up and before long will secure her spot in your heart and your lap. Donna is crate trained and is doing well with house training. She would do great in an active home who can meet her energy needs. She has not been tested with children or cats. If you are interested in adopting Donna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.
