Meet Dory

Dory is just an adorable little Mini Aussie girl that is about to turn one year old and weighs a petite 17.6 lbs. When you meet Dory you cannot help but notice her diminuative size and her beauty with the amazing owl shaped eyes that stare up at you with so much to say with just her look. Dory is searching for a loving home that will enjoy her energy and zest for life and the promise that she can snuggle next to you to watch a few ball games. We have found this little girl to love her foster dad and to be a shadow to her foster mom as she goes about her busy home life. She is making friends with her two foster siblings that are allowing her to be a part of their home for a short time. Dory walked in and immediately jumped in the easy chair to settle down beside her foster dad. She has shown herself to love to retrieve any ball you throw for her. Playing fetch with children or athletic adults would be nirvana for this girl. There is no fear in her heart, only love and a desire to be accepted and find her place forever with the right family. She has proven to be totally housebroken and we know that she is crate trained and wonderful on a leash. She is fully grown at just a little over 17 pounds and she is soft and shiny with a gorgeous tri color coat of hair that is indictative of the Aussie breed. She was turned in by a senior woman who adopted her from a breeder as a puppy and she was not equipped to keep up with this little bundle of playful energy. We are looking for a fun, busy and outdoorsy couple, family or single person who will enjoy who she is as a small herding breed girl. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com She is ready to go!!!
