Meet Draco

Draco is a handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd with enough energy to keep your fitness tracker impressed and enough personality to keep you laughing. His dream job is simple: full-time adventure buddy. Hiking? Absolutely. Running? Count him in. Daily walks? He will remind you if you forget. This smart guy already knows sit, down, stay, come, and shake—though his version of “shake” is a little extra. Why offer one paw when you can enthusiastically present both? Draco believes in giving 200%.When it comes to snacks, he has standards. Milk Bones? Hard pass. Hot dogs? Now we are talking. He is a bit of a food critic, but once you have the good stuff, you have his attention. Draco is friendly, affectionate, and loves playing with toys. He can get excited on leash and tends to pull, but a harness makes him a much more polished walking companion. In the right setup, he is ready to be your best trail, park, or neighborhood buddy. His previous family reported that he is housebroken and absolutely loves riding in the car. They also admitted he considered their 4-foot fence to be more of a friendly suggestion than an actual barrier. Because of his escape-artist history, Draco will need a secure yard with appropriate fencing or supervised outdoor time so his adventures stay with you. Draco is looking for a home without cats. Because he is such an active, enthusiastic guy, he is recommended for kids 12 and older. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is also recommended to make sure everyone starts off on the right paw.
