Meet Duffie

Duffie is currently located at our rescue in GA but also scheduled to attend one of upcoming adoption events at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ if not adopted locally. An application for Duffie's' adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Duffie and/or our adoption policies should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.*** We were recently made aware of a stray female dog that had been roaming a neighboring city. This dog would frequent a particular house as the family that lived there would provide her food, water and even shelter during bad weather. This girl has also been very elusive, preventing the family from catching her. Over the past year, this girl has now produced two litters, the latest being our "D" litter pups. SoCo Rescue is going to assist with capturing this girl and having her spay to prevent any further litters. Duffie is all about having fun and playing with his siblings. He appears to have a very sweet personality and should make a great addition into just about any home. Of course, he'll require all of his basic training once in a new home. We've just started Duffie on his regiment of de-wormings and vaccinations. While still too young to receive his rabies vaccine (obtain after 12 weeks of age), he has already received 1 of 3 of his first year puppy vaccines. Duffie's adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months old and provide SoCo Rescue with verification of such. Per our adoption policy, Duffie can be pre-adopted, but will not be released to his new home until a week after receiving his second vaccine (test to be Oct.9).
