Meet Duncan

Duncan has been through more than any dog should. After being abandoned and left to fend for himself for months in the heat with no shelter, he’s finally safe — and ready for a fresh start with someone who won’t let him down again. Despite everything, Duncan is a sweet, glue‑to‑your‑side kind of boy. He’s gentle, easy to walk on leash, and looks to his person for direction. He’ll lick your hand just to say thank you. At 6 years old, he’s fully housebroken, neutered, vaccinated, and wonderfully low‑energy. Because he’s been tossed around so much, Duncan can be a little anxious in new situations and needs reassurance that he won’t be left again. He does well with some dogs but needs slow introductions and a confident owner who can help him feel secure. He knows his basic commands sit, shake, and down and he’s smart, eager, and deeply loyal.
