Meet Eclipse

Eclipse is handsome, smart, sweet, cuddly 4-year-old purebred black GSD. He was taken into his current home to help a friend who could no longer care for him, but Eclipse needs to be in a home where he is the only dog. Currently, he is living with a dominant dog. Eclipse is energetic and loves to swim, play ball, and go on hikes, despite having hip dysplasia. He enjoys playing with tennis balls and will either hold 3-4 or drop them at your feet to play fetch. He plays nicely with dogs he knows but might be uneasy with new dogs. With new dogs he can be food aggressive and/or toy possessive and will be unhappy if another dog takes all his toys. He has some solid basic training and knows SIT, DOWN, STAY, PLACE and COME. He is leash-trained, crate-trained and does well in cars. Eclipse will thrive as the one-and-only in a home with a person or family who has lots of love to give, is active and loves and appreciates the GSD breed. In return, Eclipse will be your devoted lifelong companion who will love you with his whole heart.
