Meet Eddie

Meet Eddie! Eddie is a sweet, playful puppy who loves to cuddle. He’s very eager to please and loves being around his people. He has a big puppy personality, with plenty of zoomies followed by lots of snuggles! Eddie is great with dogs. He is a little unsure of cats, but he has made great progress over the past two weeks. He is learning to sit when a cat approaches and has adjusted well. He has not lived with children, and he seems nervous around them. He has met children at a farmer’s market and showed no aggression, just fear, so a home without children may be best for him. Eddie is doing really well with house training. He sleeps through the night without accidents most nights and has only had a couple of accidents. He is still learning to walk on a leash. He does well with a harness but would rather stop and sniff everything than actually walk! He gets 2–3 walks a day and enjoys supervised playtime in the backyard. Eddie loves puzzle toys and chew toys. He is also learning not to jump when he gets excited. He is mostly crate trained. He can be nervous about going into his crate during the day, but meals and naps in the crate have helped a lot. He usually naps in his crate for about an hour, 2–3 times a day, and sleeps quietly in it overnight. Eddie is a loving, cuddly, happy puppy who is learning and improving every day.
