Meet Edie! Edie is a 6-month-old terrier mix with a bright white coat, adorable brown ears, and a face that’s impossible to resist. At 25 pounds and still growing, this young pup is full of curiosity and ready to discover everything the world has to offer. Edie came from a difficult situation where she spent much of her early life confined to a very small space. Because of that, large indoor areas can still feel a little overwhelming to her at times. The good news? Every day she grows more confident and is learning that it's safe to explore, play, and enjoy being a puppy. Like many young dogs, Edie is still working on her manners. She is learning basic commands, practicing her leash-walking skills, and making great progress with the help of patient guidance and positive reinforcement. She's eager to learn and has all the potential to become a wonderful companion. One thing that comes naturally to Edie is loving people. She is excited to meet everyone she sees and is always ready to say hello. She has also made a few dog friends at the shelter and enjoys canine companionship. Because every dog friendship is unique, any resident dog in her future home will need to meet Edie before adoption to ensure a good match.
