Meet Edric

Edric – Smart, Playful, and Eager to Learn Edric is a 5-year-old, 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix. He has a bright mind, a fun-loving personality and one bushy, mis-located eyebrow. People-focused and eager to learn: Edric loves staying engaged with his human. During a short foster stay, Edric quickly learned cues including “sit,” “down,” “bed,” “stay,” and “off.” He also signaled when he needed to go outside. Playful and affectionate: He enjoys both independent and interactive toy play, including tugs of war, though he may become a little bouncy when too excited. Sweet and responsive: When playtime winds down, Edric settles and leans in for scratches and affection. A dedicated explorer: On a recent outing, Edric showed his love for a good sniffari and rolling around on the grass, simply taking in the moment. He remained calm when dogs and children passed by. He was easy to handle and also appeared to understand “leave it.” Edric would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
