Meet Eilat

Eilat is a 6 month old male Lab mix with a gorgeous red coat, beautiful hazel eyes, and the sweetest gentle heart. He is one of the shyer pups in his litter, but that's part of what makes him so special. You can tell how much he wants to trust and be close to people - he just needs a little patience to let his confidence blossom. This lovable boy is very treat-motivated, making him eager to learn and a wonderful candidate for training. He's already working on his leash manners and discovering that a leash means fun and time with people who care about him. Eilat has so much love waiting to give the family lucky enough to call him their own. All he needs is someone willing to spend a little time, offer a few treats, and believe in him. In return, you'll be rewarded with watching a shy puppy grow into a devoted best friend. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
