During this time, he has learned to relax, build trust, and enjoy life in a safe and stable environment. Ember has a big personality and thrives when he feels secure and loved. He is looking for a patient, understanding family who can provide the consistency and companionship he needs to truly thrive. Ember enjoys spending time outdoors, lounging in the yard, and going on short walks. He has a moderate energy level and appreciates a calm daily routine, with time to observe his surroundings and play with familiar dogs. Ember gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions and enjoys interactive play and games in the yard. He is house trained, polite indoors, and enjoys having his own beds where he can keep an eye on his family. While Ember is not a cuddler, he enjoys leaning in for pets and attention and forming a close bond with his people. He has met respectful children and does well with gentle interactions. Ember has some caution around new men at first, likely due to experiences in his past, but with patience and gradual exposure, he warms up and becomes affectionate and playful. He has a fear of cars and car rides, so his ideal home would not require frequent travel and would allow him to feel safe and comfortable in his surroundings.
