Meet Fiddler

FIDDLER IS SEEKING AN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT HUMAN Yes, you read that right. Fiddler needs a person. Our dog walker took Fiddler out and came back a little choked up. She described him as a sweetheart—gentle, mellow, beautifully mannered and absolutely perfect. He stayed tucked close beside her while they walked and spent the car ride stealing kisses. But it was the way he looked at her that got to her. She said he just seemed sad—like he misses having a person. Fiddler is roughly 7 years old and 70 pounds and came to us after living on the streets with two other older dogs. After everything has changed in his life, he seems to be looking for one simple thing again: someone to belong to. He doesn't need an emotional support animal. He needs an emotional support human. Someone whose side he can walk beside. Someone whose car he can ride in. Someone he can sneak kisses from. Someone who will remind this sweet older boy that losing the life you knew doesn't mean you won't be loved again. Fiddler is available NOW at East Ridge Animal Services. Adoption fee: $75 Open Monday–Friday, 10–5, plus the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. Come be Fiddler's person. He looks like he's been waiting for you.
