Meet Flapjack
Wake up every morning with little Flapjack to bring a smile to your face. Flapjack is a 4-month-old Terrier/mixed breed bundle of love. He weighs around 19 pounds now but will grow into adulthood and is estimated to be a medium-size dog of anywhere under 60 pounds. Flapjack was rescued while he was frantically dodging traffic but now, he is ready for a forever home and family to keep him safe and warm. Flapjack adores being carried around like a baby when he is not doing puppy things like exploring his new world and making friends. Flapjack has spent his time with dogs and children as his companions. It is not known whether Flapjack is comfortable with catsFlapjack is learning that being a good boy at home means learning his manners, so he is in active training with his house training, crate training and walking on a lead. It is important to remember that puppies and rescue dogs may have accidents as they transition to a new home. Flapjack will require a crate that is big enough for him to turn around, stand in and lie down as he grows. Crates need to be warm welcoming places. Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day and with Flapjack to sweeten the morning it will be a joy to get out of bed and start the day with a lovable canine companion.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Flapjack is $500.
