Meet Floki George

Floki George A143158 is a 4-year-old Lab mix that weighed about 80lbs but needs a diet!09/03/26 This handsome pup is Floki George! Floki George came to the shelter as a stray but was never claimed by an owner and now he is searching for his forever home. Because he came to us as a stray, his behavior and history are unknown. He does appear to keep his kennel clean and tidy, which may indicate he is housebroken, but a refresher course is highly encouraged in his new home. He also appears to be kind towards his canine neighbors, and he has been affectionate with the care staff. He could use some work on his manners and obedience though. Please ensure that you are performing those introductions to other pets and children in a slow, safe, and controlled manner in his new home. Floki George did get seen by the vet while here at the shelter, and it was recommended that he stay on a diet to help him shed those extra pounds to help his joints and benefit his overall quality of life.
