Meet Francine
Francine is a one-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart that`s growing braverevery day. She arrived at the shelter with her best friend, Frederick, andtogether they`re happy, confident, and ready to take on the world. On herown, though, Francine is still building confidence in our Shy Dog Programand learning that life without Frederick isn`t quite so scary. A friendly,confident dog in her future home could really help her continue to blossom. Once she feels comfortable, Francine`s fun side shines! She has plenty ofyoung-dog energy, loves splashing in the kiddie pool, knows sit, and takestreats ever so gently. She`s a little jumpy and could use some basictraining, but she`s eager to learn and ready for adventures with her newfamily. Because she`s still a shy girl, we recommend a meet and greet with anyresident dogs and a home with kids 12 and older. With a little patience,encouragement, and maybe a canine role model, Francine is sure to grow intoa wonderful lifelong companion.
