Meet Francis

Coming to us as an owner surrender from the same home as sweet little Maple, with his owner having more than they were able to handle, Francis is also looking for his forever family to keep him safe, loved and always a beloved family member! This sweet 4 month old is a little more nervous than his sister, but he is already coming out of his shell… no matter the amount of shyness he may have, it can’t overcome his desire for your attention! With grace and patience, this little guy is going to be the biggest snuggle buddy and best friend his family could ever imagine! If you are looking for the perfect forever companion and you have puppy patience, please come and meet this sweet little guy in person to see if he is meant to spend his forever with YOUR family! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all, also! We don’t have information on how he does with cats and no way to test for this. If you can’t promise forever, please consider waiting until that can be a promise kept, BEFORE adopting! And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet. 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustFrancis’ adoption fee is $40 – through end of day Saturday, October 3, 2026! All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC.
