Meet Frankie

Meet tiny Frankie! She is about 1 1/2 ys old, 23.5 pounds, a Cattle Dog mix without a tail. Frankie is so demure! Submissive to the point she crawls to you. I hate seeing this! She went on her first pack hike and we got that knocked down! She is showing some confidence now. With other dogs, Frankie is fine, preferring to be left alone unless it's one at a time! She is doing fine in the pack of very nice dogs here. And she is incredibly sweet! When I brought her out of her kennel run, on the second day, she met some stone workers here and just a curious little girl. Not afraid of men, good sign! We have been on an on leash hike, and she appreciated shaking off some shelter type stress, plus the bewilderment of her whole situation prior to that, whatever that was. Quiet, sweet, getting along with the pack. She rode here loose in a car and did well. She does walk on leash, contrary to her behavior notes at the shelter, with encouragement and kindness, she is fine on a leash. We're looking for a lovely, quiet home with one, two or no other dogs in the home. We’re guessing she would be fine with nice kids and cats.
