Meet Fraulein

Fraulein is a young Labrador Retriever mix who arrived at the shelter with her buddy Butch after their owner passed away. The sudden changes in her life left her very scared, and she is currently participating in the shelter's Shy Dog Program while she builds confidence and learns that the world can be a safe place again. While she may be shy at first, Fraulein is trying hard to be brave every day. Once she starts to feel comfortable, her sweet personality begins to shine. She is affectionate, easy to handle, and loves giving gentle kisses to the people she trusts. Fraulein enjoys playing with toys, comes when called, knows `sit,` and takes treats with excellent manners. She walks nicely on leash with only light pulling and enjoys spending time with her human companions. Her previous family reported that she was crate trained, giving her a great foundation as she transitions into a new home. Beneath her shy exterior is a loving, playful girl who simply needs a little patience and understanding. With time and kindness, Fraulein is sure to blossom into a loyal companion who will reward her new family with plenty of affection, kisses, and gratitude.
